Channel Sales Manager – Northeast, Central, Western US Regions
As a Channel Sales Manager, you will own the relationship between Veddio and its partners for a given set of channel partners and Geographic Territory. You will fully enable the partners from both a sales and delivery standpoint, and continually drive pipeline and revenue by relating to all levels of the partner organization.
CSM is responsible for continued growth of new Veddio Channel Partners and for driving significant revenue with existing channel partners by building relationships. Create, manage and execute effective, high-ROI joint business plans. Understanding channel partners’ and their end-customers’ needs and effectively addressing those needs with Veddio solutions. Calling and emailing executives at all levels to facilitate deal closure. Training channel partners on the Veddio solution, use-cases, and technology partner solutions, to ensure proper client fit. Work with partners to grow Veddio presence within their product portfolio.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for selling Veddio products through indirect sales channels, such as MSPs, VARs, Consultants, Telecom Integrators, and other distributors.
- Serves as liaison to channel partners with regards to any sales and product related issues.
- Job typically requires 30% travel.
- Performs sales activities for an assigned geographic area through indirect sales channels to exceed assigned revenue objectives.
- Maintains close contact with Channel Partner in order to have a clear understanding of CP business model and how Veddio can help increase their revenue and client retention.
- Creates and performs sales/training presentations to match company’s products/services with identified needs.
- Remains knowledgeable of company’s products/services to facilitate sales efforts.
- Maintains sales records and prepares sales forecast reports as required.
- Maintains regular contact with partners to ensure satisfaction and continued training.
- Maintains a regular schedule of contact via phone/on-site visits.
- Educates partners to new or improved products/services.
Job Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- 5+ years sales experience, preferably channel sales or a large Managed Service Provider.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT business, or sales management.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently provide Channel support.
- Advanced knowledge of Indirect revenue generation, past history forming successful partnerships, and all facets of sales pipeline development.
- Channel Manager will use advanced knowledge to work under a quota and be able to effectively maintain/expand business relationships, through email, site visits and phone contact.
- Advanced Knowledge of managed services and cloud solutions industry.
- Excellent selling skills combined with demonstrated relationship building skills. (Channel Partners need to look forward to your visits and calls.)
- Effective communication, interpersonal skills.
- Channel Manager must have excellent phone skills and ability to proactively generate new Channel Partners.
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical information and ideas so others will understand.
- Ability to successfully work and promote inclusiveness in small groups.
